Franc started diving in 2009 while on vacation in the British Virgin Islands (BVI.) On that first dive, Franc used up his AL80 tank in about ten minutes because he swam after every one of the hundreds of fish that caught his attention.

His best friend, who is an instructor and took him on that first dive, insisted that Franc get certified so they could go wreck diving when they returned on their next holiday to the BVI in 2012. After finally getting certified in September of 2011, Franc went on to complete his Master Scuba Diver raiting, eleven speciality diver certifications, and nearly one hundred dives by mid February of 2012. Since we couldn't get him to stop, we told him to just keep going until he was an instructor. He loves diving and sharing his passion for the ocean with others. And there you have it.
